This is the atermath of a Collared Sparrowhawk swooping upon a poor King Parrot. It was a swift attack with a very efficient dispatch. The Hawk then dragged the remains onto the gravel and consumed it leaving only a few pin feathers. It wasn't phased by the close proximity of humans and only huddled over its meal when we ventured into view.

That's a pretty grisly sight. So not on the same wavelength, but we did have a pigeon lay some eggs in our flowerpot, the eggs hatched and we had baby pigeons for maybe 5 days before something came and ate them. I'm thinking the something is the indian mynah bird as the flowerpot was situated on a top floor balcony.
I read 'snake attack'. Was looking for a picture of a snake. Was relieved not to find it.
That's so cool! :D
I love the savagery of nature :)
