The Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains in NSW Australia, a world-heritage listed, green island of native bush and spectacular landscapes. Not a bad place to live and not a bad place to knit. It's two knitting hours by train from the Sydney city CBD. My village is 668 metres above sea-level, just above cloud level as many a misty morning has proven. A lovely temperate climate with the odd touch of frost in Winter to justify scarves and jumpers.
